One from the Tetons
I shot this standing in the middle of a creek. The blues were extreme so I actually desaturated them a bit. I did the mandatory Schwabacher's photos, but thought I'd post something different. Does this work?
40D, 17-40, 2 stop GND.
Thanks,
Paul

Yes, I think this works very well. It's nice to see something different from here. The ripples at the bottom really make this shot.

Nice, Paul! Let's see the Schwabacher's shots. It's a favorite place of mine!

Wow, those blues are amazing! I love the glassiness at the top of the riffle; I'm always trying to capture those and never seem to bring it off like this. And seeing the Grand, Owen and Teewinot visually separated is a treat. Definitely works for me!

This is a very nice unique comp. from the Tetons. The ripples and the reflection of the mountains (adding colour) to the BRC really do make the shot, very nice!.

I agree, it works well for me. I love the water color and texture!

Works for me as well. Great job!

Very different from most comps of this area, and it works very well.

As with others, I think the foreground is very cool and nicely complements the majestic mountains, but the dead trees in the middle ground aren't working so well for me (although I realize there's nothing that can be done about it).

I really like the view from here; great comp, too. The dead trees don't bother me too much, but the two big ones on the left take away from the mountains.

Paul, I really like this image. IMO, the foreground appearance of the water really makes it pop.

Thanks for the comments, guys. The dead trees actually bugged me a lot, but once I realized they were part the grand scheme of things, I just ignored them. Of course, then a photographer who had seen this before the fire pointed out how great this looked back in the day.
John K - I'll post some Schwabacher's shots when I get them processed.

Really like the fluid motion of the water. Very nice.

I definitely like this view of the Tetons, it's definitely different angle of them, interesting to see all those dead trees there
