Blue-Breasted Kingfisher.
Nikon D200
Sigma 50-500
1/125 sec
f6.3
iso 200.
Picture taken in the hotel gardens on holiday in the Gambia unfortunately with a white wall background and perched in dark cover ,end of excuses!
Does the shadow of the plant on the birds head spoil it or does it make the picture more natural?

I think the bird has deliberately positioned itself so that it's eye is in the shade, and your photo nicely shows that.

I like it.

I like it as it is. By keeping he whole sprig of leaves that are throwing the shadow, it looks like the bird is doing it deliberately. Nice one.

Thanks to all for looking, seems like the general consensus is to leave the clone tool alone.
Thanks.
Keith.

Hi Kieth - I would leave it alone . Cloning the shadow out in this case would not just be like taking a twig out !!
Cheers
