Black and white generally doesn't get a lot of love on NPN, but I thought I'd post this anyway
A pretty big change from my normal water works, this has a hot spot or two but I felt they worked here. I cropped the top and the left side a bit. This was shot in 06 and I've been dragging it out every once in a while trying to make it work. I believe this has been what I've been looking for. Anyway let me know what you think... trash it or keep it.

Print it out, oh, say, 24x30-ish, and trash it by Fed-Ex'ing it to me...I'm not normally a fan of B&W, but the light playing down the tree trunk and falling on the plant in the lower mid/center is captivating. I like this a lot.

This is great. The tree with it's shadows are outstanding. At first glance I did not like the tree in the middle of the falls, but after looking at it - I do. Congrats - SandyLee

I love it, too, but here's a thought on a crop. I tried it by just not scrolling all the way down, and it looked pretty good. Crop the bottom just below where the roots go dark.
I think that adds drama, because it makes the roots disappear into the waterfall.
And then, yea, maybe a little more off the left.
It's already terrific. Just a thought.

I like the shot Thomas, but would work on the dark perimeter to add in more midtones. It looks like your histogram would be rather 'split'.

Great shot, can you post the shutter, f stop and film or digital info?

Thanks John, Leann and George for the comments!
George here is the exif data you asked for, 6 second exposure, F22, ISO 100...it's been so long I can't remember if I used an ND or just a polarizer. Digital (Digital Rebel 300D)
