Every now and then I come across something so wacky it just has me ROFL! Here's something going on the English eBay site. Hank--you've been doing weddings the hard way. If only you had this guy's set up! Seriously though, it does play to the general public's near total lack of knowledge about serious photography.

Thanks for the heads-up, Kent. I'll pick one up TODAY! Just what I need to pop the cap off the champagne bottle of my wedding photography business. Good-bye multiple DSLR bodies, flashes and lenses, hello this quick-and-easy system to become a millionaire.

Heck, I may be able to buy this setup and let it take all the pics by itself.

Sheesh. "Buyer beware" indeed!

Are you telling me I wasted thousands on my digital gear when I could have had this film P&S for a few Euros? I only need to read a 27 page book and I will make mega dollars?? Well I'll tell you that when I win the bid I will insist on the one camera with the Carl Zeiss Tessar lens. None of them "manufacturer's lenses" for me. I want only the best!! :jump:

"We will teach you the part of looking like a professional wedding photographer. If you look like one, then people might believe you are a professional wedding photographer."

"There are no photographs in this book, since I do not want you to be influenced by anyone."

"Pretend you are a “Professional Wedding Photographer” and they just might believe you!"

Wow, a page ripped right out of my wedding how-to book. C'mon, Hank, you've been named! How can you stay out of this one?

Ok, the funniest part of this is towards the bottom of the page in the section titled "Questions from other members." Somebody actually asked the seller: "This is a joke right?". ROFL! Haha, that is hilarious. :toast:

hahaha

Thanks for the giggles Kent.

I'm going to rush right out and buy one, that is if everyone who commented before me hasn't bought this person out!

Not!

I don't know...why not just follow the advice of "David Booth"...from the very beginning of the write-up:

"Ever wanted to change your lifestyle – do something else, earn more money? Well now you can, take a gamble and but this kit. Just follow my instructions and you could be the best wedding photographer in your town and make a fortune."

I think if every one us would simply but [sic] this kit, the world would be a much better place.

Just think of the franchise possibilities!!!! For next to nothing I could have wedding photographers all over the country shooting for me. There's finally a way to get rich in photography!

I'm wondering if this guy is up for writing political speeches here in the US? 'Tis the season, and there's certainly a market for his skills.

Thanks for the heads up Kent! Maybe I should wake up my wife for a look...... Nah. She worked late last night, and sense of humor is one of the last things she dons in the morning.

Remember the Hula Hoop! Probably the promoter will be on the Forbes list next year.

ROFL

It's sad to think anyone has purchased this!

What's so funny? I'm going to order two kits, and make TWO fortunes! "Just point and shoot and run all the way to the bank." What have I been doing, spending hours on this forum and practicing?

This is funny!
Another West African scam artist, I think. The English is not that of a native speaker.
I would love to see him do a live sell, like a TV advert.

Boy, it sure seems to make sense though. I just figured it out. On our last big wedding we showed up with something over $25,000 in combined camera and lighting gear. We were paid only $14,000 for the job. How could we make a living with numbers like that!!!!!!

And we could have been doing the job witha $100 outfit. Sell the camera gear and we would have made almost $39,000 on the wedding! This guy has taught me lots about economics.

RATZZZ!!!

I just checked back and the kit sold. Guess we're stuck doing things the same old way.

Don't worry, Hank. I think the opportunity will present itself again later.

It sold? Okay, who bought it? C'mon, fess up.

Shhhh, I'm trying to keep it a secret. If it works out I'll mark it up and resell it to Hank.
