Mating Damsels
A mating pair of Common Blue damsels, I'm not sure what the plant is.

Canon 400D with Sigma 150mm.

f11, 1/200, ISO 400.

All C+C welcomed.

Matt

Nicely composed Matt. I don't know how you macro boys find these isolated subjects. On the odd occasion I've had a go the insects are always swamped by vegetation.
Nice one.

Nice one Matt. Difficult to crop I would imagine. The seeds are great too ! I think it might be dock (Rumex ) but looking closely - not too sure .
Cheers

A very fine shot, made all the better by the colourful perch. :toast:

Great behavioural shot., on an excellent perch. Might be Common Sorrel Rumex acetosa but without seeing the leaves not so sure.

very nice pose and perch, but i'm not sure this needed f11 as you seem pretty parallel and you would have benefited from a smoother background, despite this it is still great
