Hi
Just returned from Norfolk, the plan was to spend a few days with the camera, however:
Day 1, Rain, rain and more rain!! (and we where camping, in a tent), however managed to see a White Rumped Sandpiper, abeit from a distance.
Day 2, More rain, and thunder storms, starting to think campining is not that great!
Day 3, the sun is out!!! went to Snettersham to see the Knot displaying, and managed a few shots, went to bed early as planned to get up early, bad idea, winds hit 46 mph and the tent started to "fall apart" so ended up packing the tent away at 02:00am.....gee how we suffer for our art....
Dave
Whoops....I forgot to add:

Sigma 500mm f/4.5
ISO 200
"A" Mode @ 1/640 @f/4.5
Matix metering
Group Dynamic focus
Tripod
Flash -ve 1/13

Good shot. May be next time put your name a little lower. The characters are disturbing the reflection of the bird.

Sorry you had such a soggy time over here!
Nice shot, I like the turn of the head and fuzzy-ness, has a nice intimate feel to it with the surrounding reeds.

Hi Dave,
Nice shot. I've just had a week up in Norfolk too! Agree on the weather!! ( you should get yourself a caravan as when the wind really blows the gentle rocking sends you off to sleep ) I too saw the White Rumped (Titchwell) Salthouse was very very quiet, although going back up in November so fingers crossed.
