I went with my friend at the Falconry centre to fly his newly moulted Peregrine up on the downs as the wind was just in the right quarter, and the bird loves to just hang on the wind.He had been up there about 10 mins when out of no where a Male Kestrel appeared, well we feared the worst, but they just seemed to enjoy each others company, and flew around for some time.I had all the wrong kit with me,just a D200 with a 18-200mm lens, and as you can see they were far to far away to get any sort of decent shot, but just thought it was an interesting meeting........

Most of the time they try to fight because of their territory. Never heard of playing peregrines and kestrels. Interesting. Thanks for sharing.
