On my trip to Canada this summer, I came across these tracks that dissapeared into the water. I took about 50 shots of this particular scene and I'm having trouble deciding which I like best. On some of the shots I used a 6 stop ND filter to blur the water. This particular shot I didn't use the filter and the water looks a little more natural. I'm trying to step out of the box a little and try different subjects. What do you think?

Thanks Jesse"
That is the input I was looking for. I know it's not a "knock your socks off" scene. I haven't posted alot lately and just felt I should do a little participating. maybe I'll post another version later.

I saw this last night and asked myself....what was he thinking.......mind you I had spent the entire day driving........
I am looking at this now and thinking......very interesting scene....and I am thinking of all the things that I could have done with the shot...
1. smooth the water
2. shoot at sunset
3. slap on an ND filter and give the exposure about 2 minutes to get those clouds moving
4. convert to black and white....
very unique scene and I would love to know the history behind the tracks...
would you mind giving up the location!

Thanks Darren,
It was taken on Vancouver Island Near Naniamo. The weather during our week trip was pretty crummmy with alot of rain. I woke for Sunrise the last four day's and it was either completly overcast or raining. I would have loved to be able to shoot this with a nice sunrise. I did play with it a little with B&W and I just wasn't sure. Maybe I'll have to try it again.
