Svarlbard landscape + Repost
I am slowly getting round to working on the shots from my trip to the arctic last summer. This one taken from the ship with a 5D and 17-40L. I think it looks better full screen than this smaller version.

Thanks for looking

Interesting image Paul, love the sky, maybe a tat brighter...do i see a bit of vignetting? I might be wrong here...

Well it's certainly one hell of a sky Paul. I think you could almost make a picture just of the sky and forget the landscape!

A pattern of clouds you dont see very often.
Very fine catch of this landscape Paul.

That sky is absolutely fabulous. A couple of things that would maake it even better IMHO is, firstly, just a little less blue saturation, although that's more personal opinion than a nit.
Secondly the horizon appears to be curving upwards quite significantly, which I guess would be easy enough to correct.

Great cloud structure and clarity. I'm guessing you used a polarising filter? That is the cause of the "vignetting" that Rene mentioned. A bit of a fish effect too on the sea level.

Absolutely stunning sky Paul :wavey:

Try running the image through lens correction to straighten the skyline as Justin mentioned

Thanks all for the helpful suggestions, I have used my meagre photoshop skills to make some improvements as suggested.
