Morning stroll in the Park..
Shot up to RMNP/Trail Ridge Road this morning. Was hoping to get above treeline for sunrise, but was running a little late, and had to stop for a herd of Elk (can't they tell Photographers in the morning are on a mission to shoot sunrise!). Got as far as Many Parks curve to shoot sunrise from.

Closer in on Longs Peak. I'm on the fence with this one, I'm thinking the fg ridge is a little too dominanting.

One more from up on the Tundra. As Erik's last post showed the Tundra is starting to turn red, however no other signs of Fall yet that I saw at lower elevations.

Nice light on Longs! You might try a pano crop just below the bright fog/cloud to reduce the impact of the ridge in #2. Its still nice as is too!

Thanks for the suggestion Kalin, here is a 2:1 Pano crop.

E-gads, get rid of that jet contrail!!!

You are right Todd, I should of cloned it. I even remember thinking that in the field, cos after the first image, the contrails started getting worse!.

I like #2 the best and after reading your comment I did a little on-screen cropping and then read what Kalin wrote and we were thinking along the same lines. I didn't mind the full frame version since the ridge wasn't black. Nice work Nick.
