Last year I was approached by the owner of panoramicimages.com to start a relationship marketing some of my images. I just wanted to warn everybody out there away from them. At least from my experience this is a very poorly run company. I sent a DVD of images shortly after they contacted me and waited and waited and waited. I emailed several times to try and get an update. If I got a response (about half the time) many questions went unanswered and I always got some canned response like, it looks like we can market some of these, I have sent them here or there and I'll get back to you soon. Fast forward NINE months and still the same thing. Three months after that (now a full year after the first DVD sent) I emailed them to ask whether they wanted me to submit new images at which point they told me that of the 60 or so images I had sent them, they selected half of them and all failed due to quality control issues. Some of these issues were valid, but many of them were extremely nit picky or unclear. Something you could maybe see if you squinted at 200% view. Perhaps other people have had more positive experiences. The owner Doug seemed like an incredibly nice guy, but the photographic director was a complete pain from beginning to end. I'm really glad to be done with them, and hopefully on to bigger and better things.
