In the past few days, when I am viewing photos posted on the site, they no longer show in actual size (pixel for pixel) on my monitor. This greatly decreases the apparent sharpness of the image, and the images so carefully prepared for 720 pixel maximum are not showing as the photographer intended. If it is a jpeg image, I can right click it and choose view image to get the photo in actual size, although this does not work with gif images.
In the pase, images were always shown at actual size. Firefox has recently upgraded to 3.0.1 and Windows XP has installed service pack 3. I don't know if one of these upgrades has caused this change.
Does anyone know what has changed and how to set to view the images in actual size?
Thanks

Dan, nothing has changed on this end - 720 is still the max size that can be posted. Be sure your files are under 200kb as well.

I've got the new firefox, and nothing has changed on this site.

Sorry, I figured it out. I had used the hotkey Ctrl+ to enlarge text for easier reading. Turns out it enlarged the photos as well, and a lot of sharpness was lost when they were enlarged. I guess I will leave the post up in case someone else has experienced this.
