Spent a couple days out at MRNP last week. Was pretty foggy in the mornings and socked in pretty good for wild flowers up higher. The clouds/fog dissipated in enough time to get this one.
D200 12-24@16mm f18 3 stop SGND and a CP, though I didn't want to get too much of the stuff under the water so set the CP very minimally
Sorry, meant to post this version larger and without the borders

Looks like a nice morning to me, Douglas. The light is nice and the composition works well, although the FG log is a bit distracting as it bisects the image into two parts.

I nice classic comp, I like that the log and the shore create a triangle over the reflected mountain top. I think if the log was over the mountain reflection it would be a little distracting. It would be nice to have some clouds or something, but every time I've been there, it's either just like this or totally cloudy. A good shot.

Nice catch Douglas. I have yet to actually see a reflection in Reflection Lake. This shot really captures the mirror surface. Great balance of light and highlight control on the peak.
