Loveland Pass Sunset
From Saturday night. Wish I had some clouds to make the sky more interesting, but the light was much improved over last time I was there when it was overcast and rainy! Comments and critiques welcome and thanks for looking!

Rain and clouds provide some of the best light depending on the scene, Chris. I think the only way this could really work well is for a more balanced shot with more of the mountain reflection. The glow on the mtn looks brown rather than golden, and since the color looks fine i suspect you did the best you could given the circumstances. My personal inclination would have been to grab a longer lens and look for something smaller reflecting in the lake, or focus on a smaller part of the mountain, which ive seen you do with other shots.

Technically and light wise you got it, now only if you could just throw up some clouds.
