A couple Wet Mtn. pics from this morning
Nothing Earth-shattering, but it was fun to get out and shoot.

One more...

Excellent. I like the way the high peak comes through in the first one. :toast:

Todd, the last three mornings we've had some fairly thick fog here in the Wet Mountain Valley. I kept thinking, "get out and find Todd, he's here somewhere". I was right.

I really like number #1. I've seen this peak quite a few times running (driving) between Westcliffe and Pueblo. Do you know if its named?

Rand, it's called Todd's Pecker. (things in image might look larger than they actually are. Story of my life...)

But seriously, it's an unnamed pinnacle, as far as I've been able to tell over the years.

Im still eyeing a route up that thing, the timing is off though, seems like im always either rushing to get to the Sangres or coming back filled with lots of Guiness and beef. Ive been frustrated the last few days with the sunrises, sunset at Pikes Peak would have been awesome tonight based on the webcams. One more chance...

Nice stuff, Todd. I really like that first one although it seems a bit warmer than the second (which I'd guess utilized the proper wb). I'm finally getting my butt out for a few days over the weekend and I hope I can find some weather like this.

I like the first one very much. Thanks for posting.

I'm really diggin' the first one, Todd. I love how that pinnacle just erupts from the fog.

I like #1. The rock features are quite nice. Sure refreshing to have some days like this.

#1 gets my vote too, I can taste that cool Fall air!.

Cloudman scores! Both are nice, #1 is probably my favorite, but love the healthy trees in the second. Those are getting harder to find.

Nice stuff, Todd. That fog really gives a luminous quality to the light. You're fortunate to be so close to the Wets; I always suspected there are some great spots there, and your continuing work from the area shows it.

Really like that 1st one, a good name for it would be Shark's Tooth, or maybe Todd's Tooth, being "G Rated" would give it a better chance of becoming official.

god I wanted to go out this morning and your photos prove it, but I have been soooooo sick the last couple of days, I might not even go to school tomorrow, maybe just long enough to turn in a couple of class assignments

Sweeeeet shots! Love #1 but #2 ain't too shabby either. Love the geology of that area, and then you throw some moody weather in there... good stuff!

They're both nice, Todd. Personally, I'm leaning toward the second one. I think the trees give it a nice sense of depth.
