Hello Everyone,

Did you know that NPN has eleven Regional Groups? The regional groups each have their own web site within the Nature Photographers Network. You can see a listing the Regional Groups, with links to the sites here. Take a look and then visit the Regional Group site in your area.

If you are not currently affiliated with a regional group, doing so will be of great benefit! You will be able to gather info on specific locations, best times to be there, receive more comments on images, make plans for field outings and, last but not least; make new friends and have fun.

For those of you who are already members of a regional group, it would be nice if you indicated your regional group affiliation in your 'signature', here at NPN. Why am I asking? Well, it's simply a plug for your group! See my signature for an example.

Do you post images at your regional group forum, as well as in the NPN critique galleries? If you do, that's great! If not, please do so. Activity in the regional groups is what keeps them going and helps them to grow. I have spoken with Jim regarding 'cross-posting' of images to the regional groups, and he has given his 'OK'.

So, what are you waiting for? Hop over to your local Regional Group and become a member!

Thank you for your participation at NPN and the NPN Regional Groups!

Kind Regards to All,

-P

I've always wondered which regional group a western Canadian photographer such as myself would belong to. I've browsed the Rocky Mountain forum but I didn't see any names of "local" photographers. Still, I enjoy browsing through the various regional groups from time to time. There is a lot of great photography there that isn't posted in the galleries.
