The dates for the fall gathering will be the first weekend in October, based on the replies to the first post.
There will certainly be opportunities for fall foliage and maybe some moose, along with streams and waterfalls.
Garth...if you read this are you willing to lead any that want to shoot waterfalls and streams?
I do know places to look for moose that are fairly accessible. I do have a wedding to photograph on Saturday afternoon. As of right now I do not have answer to how early the bride wants me to start shooting that day.
There is a possibilty I can take people out for moose on Saturday morning and definitely on Sunday morning.
Again....here are a few places to contact for lodging:
Saddleback Motor Inn
http://saddlebackmotorinn.net/
A newly expanded and renovated inn with a pool and restaurant.
Town and Lake Motel
http://www.rangeleytownandlake.com
Has both cabins and rooms available. No restaurant, but a short distance from several.
Loon Lodge
http://www.loonlodgeme.com/
Very nice lodge on the lake.....a bit pricey perhaps. Serves dinner only.
There are several B&B's in the area if anyone would like info on those please let me know and I will post the names and contact info.

Yea, I can probably swing the streams and waterfalls. To bad Grand Falls, Moxie Falls, Houstan Brook Falls, and Austin Falls are in my area! We could still do Big Falls, Smalls Falls, both the Cupsuptic and Kennebago Rivers etc.
I made my reservations at Saddleback Motor Inn for the photo weekend. Looking forward to seeing everyone. Hopefully no rain/snow.

I'm about 50% at this time...I may have my schools outing club hike that weekend. We vote on a day soon. Don't count on me for a hotel, as I will probably camp.
It would be great to see everyone, and catch some peak foliage!
