I am going back and reworking some of he images from the past year or so using the new Lightroom 2.0. This is one such image shot in the CVNP in October 2006. The clarity and grad feature in LR really helps making this more pleasing to me.
Let's hope we get some color like this. As I remember, Chuck might have been with me this AM and 2006 was a glorious fall in NE Ohio.
I am hearing there is some color going in the Adirondacks as well as north of here in Canada. Though we are still in our wonderful warm, dry weather here on Oregon ( June - mid September only has about 1-2"of rain--then the dam bursts!), the word is we have another week or so until the seasons start changing.

Great colors and detail. One nit, I was distracted by the perception that the reflection of the sky is brighter than the sky itself.

I think you were shooting with Bob that day. Great colors (would be interesting to see the original for comparison). Agree with Ken about the lightness of the reflection. Also seems to be a halo around the trees (especially the pine in the center).

I really like the colors and the sharpness in the details. Great job!
Fall is my favorite time of the year.
Very nice scene Jack - and complimentary light! I agree with the previous statements about the sky being to dark relative to the reflection.

I agree about the sky..it does look quite a bit darker than the reflection, but the comp, reflection of trees and barn and the fall colors make this one very appealing image, Jack.

How is it different from the original workup?
