Looks as if this will announced at the weekend. 24mp and video. £2069 or so.

I can't believe it would be as high as 24mp, people would stop buying the 1DsIII, I can't see canon doing that unless they announce a 50mp 1DsIV on the same day!? :eek:

OT

I wonder when we can expect to see a 1DIV?, hopefully sooner rather than later

I reckon it'll still be 12mp or thereabouts but with the new image processor etc (and called the 7D) :smile:

The 1DIV will be along soon. They're just doing some still life set ups to test the AF :wink:

The longer the rumour the bigger the pixel count gets-a couple of months ago it was 15 then 2 weeks ago it was 21-now 24-which i feel would be a very foolish move by Canon if it is

Last I heard it was 15mp. That to me sounds like what it should be for a product lying under the 1 series.

i remeber seeing that it was going to be the 1ds mk2 in a 5d body

24 mp and video would be a carbon copy of the alpha 900 why on earth would they do that!
