Newfound Gap Shale 1
OK, I warned you all another was coming....thoughts on this as well? Same basic spot, same day, about 12 feet away from first image I posted, but actually the first comp I chose that day. I'm doing a fair amount of going back to older images right now and especially concentrating on some older abstracts, so you all might get a heavy dose of this kind of work the next few weeks (though this image is from this year). Somebody holler when enough is enough!

Thanks, CJ

Keep bringin' it Christopher. I like this one more than the first. The distribution of color is very pleasing to my eye. Print this 4 ft x 6 ft.

Christopher-

I like this one much better. The lines and cracks just make it a better comp. It also still has that great color from the first post.

Great image!

Two images from you in such a short period of time? What's the world coming to?

While I liked the other image, this one feels a bit more balanced to me all around. I also think there's a better visual flow to the composition. Once again, the warm-cool contrasts are very appealing. Good stuff CJ!

Thanks all....

Joel - I'm feelin' pretty sassy these days, just crankin' out images left and ..... well, more quickly than normal. Funny how new projects can focus you at times!

This one has more of a mosaic appearance to it, CJ, and completely absent the rather strange vertigo-like sense I had of the other. I think that means I like this one better.
