Hi,
I am a new member. I am in Rockland County NY and was looking for a close 1-2 day trip. Any other suggestions such as Orange or Ulster Counties in NY would also be great for me.

If you are traveling down to Bushkill Falls you'll also love Raymondskill Falls. The falls are in the Delaware Water Gap NRA and are marked on the park map. They are off US 209 about 5 or 6 miles south of Milford PA. They are the tallest falls in PA.

If you like hiking, you can go to Ricketts Glen park in PA. Bushkill is very commercial - I will skip that. Other falls in Delware gap is very good - try Dingman's too.
Catskill is great during fall - so is Finger lake region

Ricketts Glenn St Park in Pa, is the best kept secret in Pa. 22 waterfalls on one trail.
What more can I say? We hike it often . . .
