In Mystery Valley, AZ. Shot with a Canon 30D, processed in Lightroom and Photoshop. Comments and suggestions always welcome!

Wow, what a cool place. Very nice comp and exposure control.
Was this a day tour? Can you share how much it cost? Thanks for posting.

Where is Mystery Valley or is it a mystery?

Nice comp and perspective, Nat. I love the dark lines radiating out from the opening, I think lightening the central area just a bit and increasing the contrast in the walls would make this pop a bit more. Very cool shot!

Thanks for the feedback guys (and gal)!

Mystery Valley is adjacent to Monument Valley. If you hire a Navajo guide it's one of the places you can choose to go.

Momo, if I recall correctly, we paid around $200 per person for a full-day's worth of guide services. (We did two half-days.)

Beautiful comp! I wonder how it would look if you added a bit of color by making the sky blue and leaving the rest B&W.

Cool idea Don... would it be going too far to put a soaring eagle in there?

And re: the location - I had it wrong... Big Hogan is actually in Monument Valley (thanks CAZ). When we were there, we drove back and forth between the two valleys. There are a lot of very interesting features right in that area, including some cool ruins. Definitely worth the trip (and expense).

Great image! Love the BW and the simple comp. Nice detail in the shadows as well.
