A different new falls
Located thiss falls on the same trip as before. I hope to at back this weekend for some more scouting there is another one in the same area. I want to get familiar with them so I can get back in Fall and Winter. We are getting rain for next several days so not sure about the flow It is a hour or so from here and would be nice to get a couple nice shots every trip but we will see. Olympus E 510 14-42mm @38mm eq 1/40 4.0 ISO 100 cropped some from left to drop out some blown out bushes. Was a nice sunny warm day great for wadeing in the stream but hard to shoot.

Another nice spot, Kendall. We're getting dumped on here for the next few days, then comes the remains of Ike. I'm always tempted to run out after a good rain and shoot our local falls. But usually, I find that it takes a day or so for the water to clear up and not be full of suds and debris.

Work that location. It should be a great fall and winter location for you.

I'd get closer to the rivulets but that's just me. I also might think about doing a horizontal pano here to get the trees and set the scene.

Hope you find perfect conditions!!

I agree with the suggestion to move closer to the rock facing, which could be used as a nice leading line. Toss in some soft light and a slower shutter speed and you're in business.

A cloudy day might be better at these falls, Kendall..that way you should be able to get more even lighting. Looks like a good place to experiment with different compositions.
