Water Vole
Hi was able to get out today, and met up with this "juv" Water Vole. Have not seen a Water Vole in years, and to find these chaps less than 5 miles from my house was a treat.

Nikon D200
ISO 100
Aperture Priority 1/80 f/4.5
Matrix metering
Dynamic Focus
Sigma 500mm f/4.5 Lens
Flash SB800 set to BL

Any help advice C&C welcomed.

Regards
Dave

He/she has a look of vulnaribility, reflecting the status of the species. :frown: Very nice image.

Thats a lovely image of this youngster..... a little bit tight in the frame for me, if you have it a touch more room would be nice, love the setting with the duckweed.... spent some time trying to get a similar image this morning, binned the lot

Like it loads

I really like this and think all the greenery makes a wonderful setting. :toast:

Nice shot of a very young vole. Looks a bit dark to me. I think brightening it would bring out more detail and colour in the fur.

Cheers
