Death Valley. Canon 30D. Processed in Lightroom.

I think this is excellent. I really like the tonal gradations and rock shadow on the racetrack. A slightly non-traditional view that maybe de-emphasises the foreground textures. and allows a the eye to wonder through the scene.

I would consider a slight bottom crop. Otherwise, this is a beautiful and unique photo of a commonly photographed place. Thanks for sharing.

I love it, as is. One of the better racetrack images I've seen. The processing and the "glow" are perfect.
I also really like #6.

Agreed. Excellent processing and great use of diagonal lines. I like the curving and diagonal shots most.

It has a luminous quality to the light. Great.

Really like the wide angle and the "softness" to the image.

What a great series Nat!, I think I personally prefer #6 more than the one you posted here, but all are very unique!.

I'd love to see a large print of this one. As mentioned earlier, it has a unique luminous quality to it. Really nice work.

Fantastic series!

As Jesse said, the glow is outstanding, like you could reach out and touch it, but then you realize it must be a dream! I normally am so-so about B&W, but this is one of the more incredible examples I've seen.
