Goldenrod
Lots of these beauties in full glory around here at the present. I usually find them mixed in with bunches of others or bunches of rough foliage. I managed to pick this one out as a single. Not sure if my shallow dof really got it all in focus, but I like how the background turned out.

Single exposure, full frame.

Very nice Brad. The yellow really pops out from the dark background.

I am an odd duck, but I like Goldenrod . . . especially in full flower. It was quite common on the natural prairies where I grew up on Oklahoma. It offered a nice contrast to the Bluestem grasses.

Nice image.

Great light and nice isolation on this one Brad. The yellows of the goldenrod really pop against the darkened bg. Good work.
