Tiny tot from the other day.

It had just stopped raining and the puffball was wet so it looks a bit 'loud'!

Andy

Sorry, you set a high standard and I think you may have slipped slighty here.... love the concept, but the toad looks 'placed', also I know my eyesight aint what it used to be, but master toad isn't looking too sharp.... I think....

Been done many times before, and will always look
a little -err "set up " Like moles coming out of the ground.!
Toads don't often sit on fungus when you think about it.
Conveys the idea behind image though I suppose

Tis the season to get the macro lenses out again. While out with the 500 i noticed alot of shrooms about, and toads. Nice combination Andy, I like it, the toadlooks sharp on my lappy screen too.

Why don't you see fairies on mushrooms? Because they don't like sitting on toadstools. I suppose it's the same for toads. It's all about the image and this would be appealing to many people, including me. Very nice.

Nice shot Andy, think it needs a touch more canvas on the left.

Just gone back and read a little more  , noticed its a stacked image.... my original comments still stand but it looks like it could be the stack, its quite a large subject for the software to deal with, always the biggest problem was compensating for the different mags as the focus was varied through the subject, Helicon is certainly getting better with this....
