Along the Yellowstone River
This photo was shot just as we were about to leave the Yellowstone River and head up onto the Buffalo Plateau via Woodard Canyon.
It was quite an experience hiking through this kind of stuff for two or three days. Woodard Canyon was very different with it's lush (almost Northwest lush) forest, rushing stream and acres of wildflowers.

That would be surreal hiking through a burnt out forest for a while. I bet it was nice getting into the lush stuff again after so long in the burnt out stuff. Made for an interesting shot though. I like it, tells a story and makes you wonder how.

Cliff,
From fire.

Mark,
The image does tell a story of destruction, but at the same time a sense of renewal for the future.

I like it. Have you tried a black and whit treatment with it?

Thought provoking and artistically beautiful in a haunting sort of way, I really like the bg of mountain for this burnt forest.
