Apologies for a short absence, a little bit of a health scare makes you realise that you are not as bullet proof as you thought....
Took advantage of a fine weekend to attempt to grab a few images of the last few Odanata, decided the Common Darters were taking the Mick when one landed on my lens and then the following day on my shoulder but refused to perch upon anything other than grotty logs... so settled for this Common Blue Damsel instead
All the best
Phil

Nice one Phil, sharp and well balanced. Sorry to hear about the health scare, glad to see it was only temporary.

Hi Phil,
It's not a dress rehearsal for any of us this life, so that's why my motto is just get on and do it! Glad to hear you're ok though.
Nice clean pic, like the soft lighting and will be missing these fellows soon.

Lovely shot Phil, there were none at the bay yesterday so made do with the spider.
Hope you can get down this way soon.

Glad you're feeling better and getting out.

good to see you back posting Phil, this is a very nice image. Lovely and sharp and perfect exposure and composition.
Hi Phil,
Very nice indeed.
I've done very little in the way of photographing damselflies this year, so I'll enjoy yours instead

Superb Phil. It's hard to believe that the will soon be gone. It only seems like yesterday that we were all waiting for them to appear.
Good to have you back. Eric
