Hi,
I like the POV and the eye contact.
Fine job, Jack

a nicely captured shot. I quite like the 'misty' effect caused by the OOF foliage.

A nice image to get Jack... I like the eye contact, shame the light wasn't kinder to you but that is out of your control here, personally, although I am not a fan of cropping I would come in closer here, simply because I am not fond of clipping the hind quarters and virtual feet, just below the chest and about 1/2 way down the back ?

Nice shot. He's got that regal, haughty look that all wild Red Deer seem to have when looking you over. It's a pity you'd got the 1.4x on as you'd probably have been able to frame him better without it. Photographing wild deer can become addictive.

thanks for the comments all, you're right about the extender Paul but i wasn't really in a position to take it off

Phil heres a crop as you suggested, i rather foolishly increased the contrast in the original image, so hopefully the below is a little better

Hi Jack,

Phil's comments pretty much echo my own. I think the cropping sugestion is a good one and I much prefer the repost.

I liked the original very much and for me there is something special about a shot of wild rather than park deer, but I have to say that Phil's suggestion is a good one and the re-post is even better.

Very ncie picture. I like the pose and the blurred section at the bottom.
