from Chanonry point, stayed there only one night, the first evening was glorious light but very little jumping (got one shot but unfortunately just as the head hit the water) , anyway the next day dawned pouring with rain and after locking the keys in the car which resulted in several hours getting soaked on the beach, decided it was time to move on
this was from a puddle in the carpark the first day a few crumbs and i had plenty of sparrows and starlings

You've caught the moment perfectly. Love the flying water drops, the bright eye and the shallow shooting angle.

Very nice - I very much like the limited palette of colours

Hi Jack,
Cracking shot. Please do not take this the wrong way, but if I am correct you are still a young lad? Can I just say that the images you have been posting from your trip over the past couple of weeks have been very very good indeed, and I think many people of a much older age (certainly me!!) would be more than very happy to have your images. I think it is great that one so young has gone out learnt about areas and species and come away with great images, as we hear on the news about more and more youngsters getting into trouble, I take my hat off to you Jack , WELL DONE
An excellent image Jack. Perhaps darken that highlight in front right of the bird.

Hi Rob
certainly not taken the wrong way at all, i suppose in this particular community my 15 years is comparatively little so yes i guess i am young i'm glad you've liked the recent images, i'd agree that over the last trip my images have been more consistent than before so it's wonderful to have that confirmed, thank you for you lovely comments

Yes - very nice . I don't go a bundle on these low shots but it works well here.
Well done.

Another fine shot and for me this just demonstrates that there is more than one way to skin a cat. John R's bathing shots with a higher PoV are one way and this is another. Both perfectly valid and the different approach adds variety to the images on here. I have to say that I am impressed by your ability at such a tender age and I think you will go far as a photographer. your images are something I aspire to, even with a head start measured in decades.
