I know the copyright symbol is ALT 0169 on my home PC with a 10 key number pad. I now have a new laptop which does not have a 10 key. Any way to get the copyright sign without? I'm running Vista and CS2. >=))>

Start/all programs/accessories/system tools/character map, select the copyright sign, copy and paste to the image. (I think you must have text selected to do this)

There is also a copyright symbols in custom shapes.

© - Option-G on my Mac. Or, open the Character Palette from the toolbar menu and select the symbol from whatever font set you want to use.

Bill - Most laptops have a number pad "hidden" within the letters, and accessed via a function key of some kind. On my Dell, it's blue numbers, with a blue lettered "Func" key. Hold down "Func" and the blue numbered keys act just like a number pad on a full keyboard. So I hit "Alt+Func+0169" on mine to get the copyright symbol.

Fred (and Bill) - An even easier way, building on what you do, is to paste the text you want into a custom brush. Then you can just select the brush tool and add your copyright info with a single click at any size you want.
