National Canyon
Following is another of my Grand Canyon photos. This image comes from National Canyon, a side canyon at mile marker 166.5. It is a very pleasant canyon in that there is quite a bit of off-white limestone in the area that has a different texture and color from much of the other geology. And, at the "end" (at least, as far as I could go), there's a beautiful little slot canyon - I'll see if I can find a decent photo of it...

Another nice one, Tim! The side canyons are what Grand Canyon trips are all about. Those reflected blues on the Muav are pretty intense; however, I don't think I find them unbelievable. The light is amazingly vivid in those places.

Just out of curiosity, who were your AzRA guides?

Here's another shot, from the "end" of National Canyon...

Oh, and Jack, my guides were the venerable Rob Elliot himself, Rico Alderete, Lynn Myers and Olivia Markham...

Gorgeous again! The play of light over these limestone curves, silky water. I really like the darkness of the pool: makes it look very deep with the ghostly stone sinking down in.

I knew Rob when I was a kid, but I haven't run into him for quite a while.
