Sunset on Timpanogos
I was up in Utah this last weekend, and took advantage of a nearly full moon to hike up Mount Timpanogos and watch the sunset from the top. 7,000 feet below is Utah Lake and the city lights of Provo.

This shot here is a two-shot panorama stitched with AutopanoPro. This was my first attempt with this software and I think it did a pretty good job, especially considering how easy it was. But I have zero experience with stitching software, so I don't know how it compares.

Anyways, this was my favorite, but I have a couple other shots on my website.

Thanks for looking!

Those are utterly stunning, Jack! Have you tried CS3's Photomerge function? It works incredibly well, lightyears better than any previous version of Photoshop.

Very cool pic, but there are some discontinuities in the brightness in places (the transition form dark to light sky about 1/3 from the lhs for example) that seem 'off' to me, maybe from the stitch.

I really like this image. I can see the image transition Stan is talking about but i only see it in the sky the mountain looks fine.

These are awesome Jack. I didn't realize that Timpanogos was so close to the city. What a view indeed!

Killer images, Jack. I love the glow on Timp and the depth of the lights waaaaay down there. I bet the 3.2 beer tasted really good after that jaunt!
