(OT)Climbing in Eldorado Canyon
My first time shooting climbing -- a friend of mine suggested I come and take some shots of him and his buddy climbing last Saturday. I recently sold off all of my long lenses and just picked up a used SMC Tak 135/3.5 to try out -- so far it looks pretty good. Not up to some of the other climbing posts I've seen here, but its been awhile since I got out

Very interesting Paul. The shot shows some strong graphical elements and you have to look for the climbers. Once you find them, they really pop out.

The Takumar 135/3.5 is certainly a sharp little lens. I have one of those as well.

I see two climbers but I don't see Waldo

Cool shot. I don't think it's off topic - those climbers could be considered "wildlife" around Boulder.

If you look closely you will actually find 4 climbers -- and I have a few shots where there are even more! You're right Jack, the climbers around Boulder were more like wildlife than anything else I saw that day, and tons of them.

Here is a vertical, I think it shows the route better...

Very cool, and you're right, the vertical shows the route; and more importantly the vertical. Nice!
