I am planning to send an article and associated photographs to UK-based (or any other country in Eu) english photo publication. But I am not sure which one(s) are most regarded and/or interested in outdoor/nature photogrpahy.
Can you guys help in recommending some? My visit to local bookstore and searching internet produced a long list of UK-based magazine - but as I don't live there, I am not sure which one(s) are appropriate or leading publications.

There is Outdoor Photography in the UK. My view on it is that it is at best average and seems more and more geared to landscape photography. Nevertheless it is the only english "nature photography" magazine.
You could also try Naturfoto, this is a German magazine but they also take articles written in english.In my opinion : quality wise the best magazine in Europe. One other option is a dutch magazine Grasduinen, similar in style to Outdoor Photography.
Do a search in Google, they all should show up.

You could always write your article in english and then translate it in to any language you want using an online translation service, there are lots around. I guess all the major search engines would have one
Another good european nature photography magazine is "image&nature" from france which is very good

although it is only written in french, but as I said nowadays with the help of the internet we have the ability to write in any language we may choose!
For instance I just translated the above in to french at the push of a few buttons on my PC

Un autre bon Européen la photographie de la nature magazine est "l'image de marque et la nature" de la France, qui est très bon (http://www.image-nature.com/nouveau_numero.html), mais il est seulement écrit en français, mais comme je l'ai dit aujourd'hui, avec l'aide de Internet nous avons le abitity d'écrire dans n'importe quelle langue mai nous choisir!

If the article is about Birds then there is Birds Illustrated http://www.birdsillustrated.com/ - this is not strictly a photography magazin and it has a relative small readership, but it may be of interest.
