This is something a little different for me since I don't photograph wildlife a lot. I spotted this fox at Prospect Park over Labor Day weekend a couple weeks ago. There's some tall grasses around the fox and it's not as sharp as I'd like since I had to crop this a bit, but it was just fun to check out that park for the first time. A lot of photography potential there (as Dan Walters surely knows already!)

I like how the fox is partially hidden, like it's stalking something. He/she's got a devious look on his/her face.

The blending of the fox into the grass is really cool.

the gleam in his eye is totally cool. It looks like hes got an idea on how to get into the proverbial henhouse....

I like this a lot, although the fox and the background grasses look a little too hot.

Really like the light and the colors. Nice highlights in the eys as well. Would leave a little more room around the fox.

Thanks for the comments everyone. Interesting, I thought about leaving more room around the fox in the crop too, Dan, after I posted this. I'll have to take another look and experiment a bit more. Thanks again!
