We had heavy rain late last week. It ended Saturday morning and a thick fog moved into the valley in the afternoon. I went over to the Ledges in the CVNP and shot until it was too dark to see. The high humidity kept fogging my lens, viewfinder and glasses. All in all, it was a great afternoon.
Here's one of my favorite shots from the day. It really captures the mood of the place.

Very cool image from the Ledges Chuck! I can feel the moisture. I have to wipe my glasses just looking at it, and I think I'm starting to sweat. CVNP is an awesome place.

Looks like a great area. I especially like the roots of the tree on the left. I hope you had a chance to work more with it. Especially as a foreground to lead you onto the rock or toward those darker hillsides.

Sort of reminds me of the Pacific Northwest.
