it shows their camouflage off very well. A nice shot.

A good image Jack though perhaps not as pleasing as the first post. I feel there is quite a bit going on in this shot (particularly the two birds looking in different directions) and my eye tends to wander around the frame whereas with the first there is a more definite point of interest. Good work nonetheless.

Jack if you take a little off the right say enough to get rid of the OOF rock then you finish up with a different looking image minus the distraction.

For me the big distraction is the OoF grass head.

The top bird doesn't really bother me looking in that direction, though you could turn it around quite easily if you wanted to.

Overall Jack I think it's a nicer image than the first, which just goes to show how different opinions can be :wavey:

Hi Jack,
Nice picture, but I agree with Andy, Robert and Major. There is to much to see.
The first one is much better. Only one focus point (I hope this is the right word for it).

Jack - try this crop - the top bird looks like another rock, and it focuses your attention where it's supposed to be.

The cropped version is better and focusses more on the bird, less distraction. Very nice
