Spent a few days with Tom along the North Norfolk coast. This picture shows a tight group of Knot and some Dunlin and I went for abstract shots because the patterns were amazing, ranks as one of the UK's best wildlife experience.

Great shot! one of the best bird shots I have seen on uknp for a long time (in my opinion)
If I were to change anything, perhaps I would take a tad off the bottom.

Very nice artistic image Danny and it certainly conveys the density of the flock - nice one matey

Hi Danny,
Good picture. I think this can be a good example why predators get confused if they are hunting and there is a huge number of animals. Very confusing. But it's a good picture.

A spectacular event to witness. Best time around end October early November and when there is a really big tide in the morning preferably around 9am.
Like your treatment Danny. Conveys what appears to be the total confusion when ten or twenty thousand of these birds all take to the air at once.

Worth a couple of mornings in a confined space!!
Had a good morning there myself today too, but haven't even looked at the pics yet!

Absolute love it. A real flurry of activity if ever there was one.
