Seeing all the previous post on the beach shots got me excited to post one of mine taken few months back at Rodeo beach. Not the dramatic sunset I experienced but I like the strong sunset reflection off the incoming waves. This is my first post in CANP

All critiques and comments welcome.

This is a classic shot, and I like your take. The shimmering light on the water is phenomenal, so beautiful! The largest stack looks like it has some noise problem, perhaps you tried to recover the shadow area and noise resulted. Besides the noise, this is nice.

Debjit,

This is a great take on this spot. You at least had some clouds/fog to pick up some color, but what I think is the real strength here is the motion of the receeding wave and the beautiful light striking the "fingers" of the water. A beautiful capture, congrats.

Debjit, a very fine composition. The coverage and placement of the sky, stacks, and water in the frame works very well. The extreme highlights on the sunlit edge have held up nicely also and are not blown out at all. A very impressive first CANP post.

Great stuff, the color and the reflectively of the water is great. I've found Rodeo to be hard to shoot because the water vapor always gets on my glass.

Excellent. I really like the wave action you captured, with the light reflecting off of it. Welcome to CANP.

Wonderful mix of color and sense of movement you captured here. The exposure control looks excellent throughout as well. Well seen and captured!
