This little guy tried to fly through my patio door yesterday. A bit confused, he then couldn't find his way off the patio. I was finally able to pick him, made sure he was alright, calmed him down a bit, then gently set him down on a fallen tree trunk. He rewarded me by sitting still, allowing me to get close enough (within a couple feet) to get a few images, while he was recovering from the trauma.
I'm not sure what kind of Warbler it is, but am leaning towards a Nashville Warbler. I've sent an email off to Cindy asking her for an ID.

Thanks, Cindy! You're right...that was my other guess, but my field guide showed a white belly on the Yellowthroat, which I didn't notice on my visitor, so I went with the Nashville.

through. I couldn’t figure out what type of Warbler it was. I looked at a book at Crex Meadows on Warblers but it was 600+ pages so I gave up.
