Hi Everyone, I'm a southeastern photographer heading for RMNP in a couple of weeks. We'll be staying in Estes Parks. Any suggestions on trails/photo opps I shouldn't miss? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Best photo op I can think of is to stop in at Images of RMNP, Erik Stensland's amazing gallery in Estes. All the info you'd ever need is hanging on the walls.

BTW, in all likelihood, the fall colors will be but a memory by October. Stranger things have happened, but it's usually gone by then.

Thanks for the reply Todd, I'll check his gallery out.

I'm heading to the same place in mid-October and would appreciate suggestions. I know it's not the best time of year, but I'm using a business trip to Denver as an opportunity to explore. There may be snow by mid-Oct. Any suggestions for photographing snow scenes in RMNP? I'm also heading down to Colorado Springs. Looks like lots of photo opps there as well.

I'll check out Stensland's gallery. Thanks for the suggestion.

Hey Richard, It's been awhile since I've been to RMNP, but spent some time in Colorado Springs. We stayed in the Blue Sky B&B in Manitou Springs, and spent alot of time in Garden of the Gods. Going west from Colorado Springs check out Mueller State Park. They call it the little RMNP. Mueller SP was awesome. Hope this helps. Jeff
