Like Nick, I went to RMNP this morning. I went to Nymph Lake for Sunrise, then back to Bear Lake.

Nymph was as smooth as glass.

So was Bear, and this is what Nick's and Joshua's stand looked like from across the lake.

god I wish my job would hurry up and pay me, so I can get out again, all these RMNP shots are getting me really itchy to get out

That first one is really sweet, Morris. The light on the aspen is fantastic!

Sweet shots Morris, love #1!. Looked like you were not along up in the Dream lake area, judging by the amount of cars in the lot, and not many people at Bear lake!.

Those are great shots Morris! I am also a fan of #1. The aspens appear to be glowing!

Thanks guys,
Nick, I only saw 2 other hikers go by on the trail in the shot while I was there, so I guess they were there earlier and went higher. I know Eric posted he was doing a workshop at Dream. And yeah, the lot was pretty full for that early. I was at Nymph by 6:00. Glacier Gorge lot was completely full when I went by it going down at 8:15.

Hi Morris, love the first shot. Was this a raw capture?
Posted by Morris McClung on September 21, 2008 at 8:50 PM
Yes, Jeff, raw on a 5d, 28-135mm@28mm, iso200, processed in acr, and photoshop. And thanks, also.
