Hi All,
The flocks of Buntings and Finches are beginning to build on a site where I do most of my photography. As the Sun rose this Bramble patch had about a dozen Corn Buntings in and three Reed Buntings. These three Corn Bunts stood out as they were the only three who had a decent background!! When a dog walker flushed the whole lot, I got a lot closer and sat and waited, within twenty mins, they started to drift back, allowing me to get some nice portraits of both Corn and Reed Buntings.
A well isolated threesome Rob. I think the plain blue on left of comp is probably un-needed and a crop to the bush would work hold the edge of the frame better.

very nice shot, the light and composition are exxcellent, it could have used a smaller aperture though as the left most bird is quite soft

It is great to have more then 1 bird on a twig but if you have them like you have, then aperture and focus becomes so much more crticial! Still i think its a very nice image
