Hi all,
From a recent trip to north Norfolk.
Was waiting for shots of march harrier, but no luck.
Thanks,

I like the shot on the whole Rob as it's artistic to a large degree - the thing that would have topped it would be if the breeze had dropped and not 'fuzzed' the reflection.
In processing I'd have taken some blue out of the midtones and shadows and used a spot healing brush to get rid of those little orange specular highlights in the background and foreground.
A good atmospheric image Rob but I think I would preferred to have had the extra space at the top instead of the bottom. It would depend on what is viewable above the bird of course. This shows, when compared to Dave Bartletts 'Oystercatcher in mud' for example, the different but equally appropriate images that can be made of wildlife and I feel there is plenty of room for both.

Hi Rob
I really like this image and the late evening light, unlike Andy I quite like the fuzzy reflection as for me mirror images compete with each other. I do however fid the dark objects in the open water distracting as for me they do compete with the bird for your attention. I would be tempted if it is not against your ethics to cloan these out!

I agree with Davids commen ts. Crop a bit of the bottom and clone out the dark blobs. Still a very nice and moody image!

Really nice feel to this one Rob. I personally quite like the 'shimmer' on the reflection and you've got movement in the feet too.
