Rainbow Curve
A couple of weeks ago I was up in Estes Park to hike with a group. I decided to extend the trip an extra day and photograph. The original plan was to go to Bear Lake and hike towards Dream Lake, but as driving the road it was questionable if I would break out of the clouds. I decided to not risk it and make my way up Trail Ridge and got broke out of the clouds right around 10k, giving me this view at Rainbow Curve.

The afternoon prior to this I stopped by Erik's gallery as well and chatted, and during that time Scott B. dropped in as well.

Neat, reminds me of my time on the N CA coast! Thanks for sharing.

Pretty nice, Neil. You might try a modest levels adjustment to get the highlights a bit brighter, but it works as is. Your instincts worked out nicely!

Here is another one taking Rick's suggestion. I thought about going even a little more with the adjustment, but still wanted to keep some mood in there as well.

Stunning image! I like what you did with the second image. Love the pink in the clouds as well.

Nice one, Neil, I love shots like this above the clouds. The second one is better.

I am always amazed to see images from above a cloud deck. Nice one.
