Redshank in flight
I photographed this Redshank in Norfolk last week, a mix of different wading birds were sitting out the high tide on two small islands and every now and then one would fly across the small channel to join the others. I managed to get a couple of different species in flight.

Canon 1D MK11, 500mm Lens, 1.4x, 1/2000, F5.6, ISO 200

Hi Danny,

Lovely light and pin sharp. Colours look really good and I like the composition. When I was up in Norfolk 2 weeks ago, it was pretty quiet, have the waders started to come in a bit mre now?

Regards

Rob

Nice light, it really makes the bird stand out against the darker background. Tristan

Absolutely stunning work Danny, can't wait to see what other species you captured in flight?

He needs some puppet wires. Great contrast and colours, I would be pleased to get a shot like this as these birds are fast and difficult to predict.
