Very nice. Not the typical wildlife portrait, is focuses on the bear interacting with it’s habitat. Perhaps a bit of a boost in saturation, the color in the foliage looks a bit washed like it was taken in mid-day light (it may just be my monitor as well).

Definitely not a teddy bear. I like it as even though the bear is just eating, it comes across as an extremely powerful animal. It stands out nicely against a fairly consistent surroundings. Well placed as well on the right side.

Not your monitor David, it's definitely a bit washed out as it was indeed shot in the mid afternoon sun.

We were WAY closer to a griz in Yellowstone two weeks ago. It was about 35 feet off the road. I didn't get out of the car (or even stop moving) but I'll bet that woman in the hotpants, standing on the edge of the road, with a camera got a good shot!
Real nice shot, Eric. It must have been sort of a bummer being trapped in that bus the whole time.

This is great, Eric - I really like the tonality throughout.. have you printed any of these? If so, I'll need to drop by sometime to see them!
Yeah, well, there were a few times on that tour that I wasn't at all sure I was safe even inside the bus!! Wow, what a shot! That darn line going up through the bear's face? I think that could use some cloning to remove its distracting influence from being overawed at the sight of such a magnificent creature. It's really a joy to be seeing all the images from your trip. Thanks for sharing them.
