Bear Lake Band Wagon
I guess I had to jump on the band wagon at Rocky Mountain National Park

I went up there to get some photos just like so many of you guys:rolleyes:

The wind was blowing so I couldn't get any reflections in Bear Lake, but I got the fall colors

Hallett Peak

I couldn't find the spot that everyone has been to that shows Longs Peak with the fall colors, where in the world is that at? I walked around where all the rocks are just above Bear Lake but couldn't figure it out.

Paul,

I'm almost 100% positive that you've posted these as aRGB and they do not look good.

Mel's right...these are in ARGB color space.

Paul,
Although the color doesn't look right, I do like the composition of #2. It has some nice elements with the rocks and aspens.

yes I did post it in ARGB, I always work in adobeRGB and forget. Outside of the color cast any other critiques

I agree with Rand, #2 is a very nice Fall scene with good dof. Upper half of the image appears a little bright, but I think you could work that with some more PP.

You have to climb up amongst the boulders about 30 vertical feet in the aspen grove at the northeast corner of the lake for the Longs shot.

Thank You for the great info Don

From a composition standpoint, #2 is my favorite. Crop of the top part and it should be a beautiful shot when you post it in sRGB.
